How do you define success?

How do you define success? What are your metrics for success?  Are you focused on the metrics or the outcome?  How do you know when you have achieved success?  Is the word success a noun or a verb? So often many people measure success by the eye and not the heart. They look at the word success as a person, place or thing, instead of the action that proceeds the person, place, or thing. Many look at others and measure success by money, power, fame or position. Consider measuring success by how much one loves, gives, inspires, influences, grows, and the legacy in which is left for others. Dr. Maya Angelou said, "Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it." At the end of each day, reflect on what you did and how you did it. Then say to yourself, did I do what I said I was going to do? And what I said I was going to do, did I do it to God’s liking? Therefore, the true metrics for success is the individual you, the action
